Meeting "Autumn!"

I'm behind in my postings; something about launching a book, finishing a draft of another, and - oh! - raising two kids has made it difficult for me to make it online as much as I'd like. But I *had* to post the picture above - yes, that's me and the cover model for Autumn Winifred Oliver Does Things Different! We met earlier this month, and I gotta say, it was so surreal, meeting the girl who has come to represent Autumn. She's a delight. Thank you to Amber Rose and her father for their support! And for the record, she does *not* have a green mustache... ;-)

This is so cool! I bet it was fun to meet your "cover girl"....my girls think all the doodles on the cover are so cute. And they LOVE Autumn! I'm actually reading her aloud (cause you know I love acting out her story!) and they are laughing out loud at Autumn's adventures and her annoyance with Cody. :-)!

Hi Kristin, thanks for the nice remarks regarding Amber. She had a great time hanging out with you at Borders. It was really nice to meet you and your family & friends. As soon as the review publishes to the News Sentinel, I'll email the link to you.

Kristin,

I bought "Autumn" for one of my young neices and came upon this site during my "gift" research for it. So I copied the lovely photo of you and Amber and am including it in the book with a note. Perhaps others may like to do so as well.
